BLACK SABBATH Drummer To Dedicate Part Of This Weekend's Radio Show To 9/11
September 4, 2007BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward will dedicate the last half hour of his "Rock 50" radio show on Saturday, September 8 to songs "dedicated to 9/11 and for the guys out there in harm's way every day," Ward writes on his web site. "Bands we'll be playing: SLIPKNOT, AS I LAY DYING, WAR OF AGES, CARNAL FORGE, NILE, CONVERGE, DEATH BREATH and many more. Bands being played in the 9/11 dedication: MINISTRY, DEFTONES, SLAYER and ANTHRAX."
"Rock 50" with Mike Stark — a music show, a talk show, a circus and a therapy session stirred into a mix of music that celebrates the 50-year history of rock music. Included in the festivities are monthly visits from Bill Ward and L.A. musician Tee-m with their favorite tunes and point of view.
"Rock 50" airs "live" every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on WPMD.org.
